On the first day of the league stage of the competition, ‘El Atleti’ will be playing at home against the German side, coached by Marco Rose. The format of the Champions League has changed, and now 36 clubs will be competing in the league stage, which will see Atletico de Madrid taking on teams such as Paris Saint-Germain, Benfica and Leverkusen, among others.
